Miscarriage

I Give Progestelle 5/5 stars.  Healthy Baby Boy.

I give Progestelle 5/5 stars.

Sorry for my late reply but I’ve been maxed out with the new baby these past few months. I wanted to let you know we had a healthy 9 lb 2 oz baby boy, almost 24 inches long, with no complications who is doing great, and in the 95th percentile for head size as well! Thanks perhaps in large part to you.

I took Progesterone cream and later Progestelle for a few years to control PMS symptoms before used Progestelle in pregnancy. I switched to tummytimeliz.jpgProgestelle as my brand of choice to avoid the estrogenic and herbal additives in the creams. I found your pamphlet on estrogen dominance syndrome very persuasive. While on Progestelle and Fibrovan prior to pregnancy, an apricot sized fibroid I had shrank to 1.7cm in diameter, verified by ultrasound.

I got pregnant for the first time right after my 37th birthday after 8 cycles of “trying” (FSH was 9). At 11.5 weeks I went to the ER with bleeding and got diagnosed with an SCH (Subchorionic Hematoma or subchorionic hemorrhage). We followed your advice to raise the dose of Progestelle and remain on the Progestelle until after delivery. And also to avoid oral progesterone because of the risk of allergic reactions. Taking this advice was not easy. When the weather got cold, it became harder and harder to find exposed skin areas to put the progesterone on, that would not rub off with clothing. Making sure to get a consistent dose was practically impossible, and toward the end, getting a good night’s sleep suffered because I had to sleep in contorted positions to avoid rubbing off the Progestelle. I wish you offered some kind of skin patch to help with application… but designing it would be hard and I don’t have any ideas! It would also be helpful to know how long we have to wait for the dose to absorb, how long we have to stay out of the sunlight, etc. to avoid killing the dose.

But the proof is in the pudding. The 20-week Level 2 ultrasound with the perinatologist showed no SCH remaining and a baby, placenta and cord with not only normal, but ideal measurements. Our baby was born on his due date and was extremely healthy, vigorous and loud. He was the biggest, pinkest one in the nursery. At 4 months he had already doubled his birth weight and was ahead on all the developmental charts and around 95th percentile for head measurement.

Throughout the pregnancy we received grossly ignorant and life-threatening advice from MD’s and midwives about progesterone. One M.D. (Ob/Gyn) and his midwife in Hudson, WI, told us to stop the Progestelle “cold turkey” at 12 weeks after the SCH. This would have caused a miscarriage within a couple of days. After he was born there was a twenty-something nurse fresh out of school who got in her little head that he needed a diabetes test, and wanted me to drink some sugar syrup. She was furious that we refused. (I had taken chromium throughout pregnancy on Dr. Eckhart’s advice and did not have diabetes). His pediatrician said the nurse didn’t know anything, and he was the least diabetic kid there, based on his 24-hour blood test results. You have to be a savvy consumer of healthcare and watch your back at hospitals. Because my Dad was a career Ob/Gyn who had delivered thousands of babies, my mom was a Practical Nurse R.N. who assisted at his clinic, and I had read a bookshelf full of material like _Thinking Woman’s Guide to Birth_ by Henci Goer, I was able to avoid getting screwed by the establishment and winding up with a dead or damaged baby. But I was nothing short of a subject-matter expert by that time. I had the I.Q. points necessary to say, “NO” to almost everything they were pushing.

I would encourage the rational consumer to use Progestelle and take Dr. Eckhart’s material seriously! I would also recommend women do their reading to prepare for childbirth, such as Grantley Dick-Read, Henci Goer, John R. Lee’s progesterone books, Ina May Gaskins, and whatever else they can get their hands on to defend themselves and their infants against ignorant fools and power-lusters within the medical establishment who are giving our terribly dangerous advice to parents, and taking advantage of exhausted women who have just given birth, and who cannot give informed consent because of what they have just been through. I would also advise women to make sure your husband is on your side, because if he isn’t, he will fall for some of their disinformation.

I Didn't Lose My Baby Because of This Stuff!!!

I didn't lose my baby over 3 years ago because of this stuff!!! I am 44 years old and close to 4 years ago I was recommended by a woman on a Quiverful families site to use this brand. I was 6 weeks pregnant and spotting pretty good every 12 hours for several days. I had just had a miscarriage the same way a little over a month before so I was terrified. I started to use this and within 12 hours the bleeding stopped - for good, never to return. I now have a healthy 3 year old who fits in just fine with our other 6 children. I also took this while pregnant with our identical twins 2 years ago. I didn't want to see a sign of blood. This stuff works! See all of our kids: www.aprayerfullife.com Now we're trying for one last one... You bet I will be using this brand if God give us one more.

It Kept Me Pregnant and I Have a Wonderful Daughter Now

Previously suffered early term miscarriages. Tested progesterone at 17 or 18 days past ovulation and it was low, so I started using this product. It kept me pregnant and I have a wonderful daughter now! Used it through 15 or 16 weeks pregnant and dialed back over a week or two.

I Had a Healthy Pregnancy.  Cycles Normalized.

Around September of 2008 my cycles got all wacky. I would bleed one day, skip a couple, start again, skip a few, etc. They were not consistent, like they had been since I started as a child (10 year old). Also, it wasn't the normal 'color' either. it was brownish and liquidy. I started using the progestelle and stopped using as much as I could of the avoid list that comes with the progestelle and my cycles normalized and in a few months I was pregnant. I had a healthy pregnancy (have had several miscarriages prior) and a beautiful baby girl.

Birth to an 8 1/2 Pound Baby Boy 22 Inches Long and in 100% Health, Heavier Periods now Lighter

Hi,

I received my order today, thanks! I will be good for another nine months now. I am attaching a pic of our baby boy we had last year. I stayed on the Progestelle for the first three months of my pregnancy until my body was making enough progesterone on its own. We gave birth to an 8 and a half pound baby boy that was 22 inches long and in 100% health. I also started my Progestelle again about one month after having our son so I would not have any post partum issues. Our son is now on year old and I have not had any post partum depression and my periods remain light. Since we do not want any more children I only stop my progestelle for the week I am on my period. My periods are light and very little discomfort. Thank you for your product and the information you send with it. I have many instances when I can share my success with others and I tell them about your product.

I have had four children over the past 25 years and never had a miscarriage or any symptoms of one. I had a placenta previa with my first child and I also had severe vomiting for three to four months that required hospitalization. The problem with getting pregnant this last time was the fibroid in my uterus. It seems that the fibroid had grown so large it was nearly growing out my cervix. The reason I began the progestelle was that I had been having worse and worse cycles (obviously the growth of the fibroid) and actually had a period for two months with bleeding so bad I used 3 tampons and one pad at a time and that only lasted an hour or two. I went to many doctors and they did not help. I was so scared I was going to become anemic I began taking iron supplements and drinking icees just to get through the day at work without passing out. I was, however, beginning for forget things that I did not usually forget. It was at this time that I began my own online research, found you, ordered progestelle and my period finally stopped. The progestelle helped me get by a few months until I could schedule surgery and time off to remove the fibroid. After that, I still stayed on my progestelle and my cycles were actually not excruciating anymore. They were so bad before I had the fibroid removed that I would lie down with lots of tylenol and still cry for hours. I have a high pain tolerance so for me to cry was a bad sign. Once that was removed I got pregnant within 3 months after we had been trying for 4 years. I also had NO vomiting with this child either. Not sure why, I understand the b vitamins help with that a bit. Anyway, I have the lightest, easiest cycles that I have ever had in my life since I have been on your progestelle. I have had severe periods since I was 16, but with the fibroid ( that took doctors four years to find) they were even worse. Progestelle has also taken away, for the most part, my PMS. My PMS was really bad but that too has gone away with the progestelle.

The doctors that I went to for years and tried to tell that I had problems told me I was having "good, heavy, normal periods". Obviously those doctors were ignorant, to say the least. I don't usually treat myself with online information but the lack of doctors that actually want to learn about your progestelle is staggering. It seems that all they could do was make fun of what was working for me, and probably attributed it to "being all in my silly blond head". Finding you and your product has literally changed my life. Thanks. I don't know how you are so open to learning how to help women but "more power to you". I appreciate your willingness to learn and help women like me. I only wish that there were a world full of more people like you.

Sure you can publish my testimony. The only thing I did not mention is that my breast milk dried up pretty quickly when I started my progesterone again after having our son. I did get 5 weeks of breastfeeding in before I started my progesterone again though. I would be glad to share my testimony because it seems that some "doctors" are a bit ignorant about this progesterone and tend to scare prospective people away from using it when it is really safer than the crap doctors prescribe. I have had many doctors make fun of my progesterone and one did it to my face. It is simply not fair that women get the scare tactics from the doctors they go to concerning natural progesterone alternatives. I would love for my testimony to be an encouragement to other women so that they will not let other doctors scare them out of using it due to unjustified ignorance.

Thanks again,

Katharine W.

Miscarriage Avoided - Healthy Baby Born!

I am 43 years old now.  At 41 years of age I began to experience some symptoms of MONTHLY BLOATING AND MOOD SWINGS that were worse than I had ever had before.  Mood swings and anxiety at times were very hard to deal with.  I was also feeling far angrier than the offense would warrant.  This was causing a great deal of difficulty in the parenting of my 5 children.  As time went on I was having irregular periods as well and then I suffered the loss of two babies due to first trimester losing babies.  I read the book, "What Your Doctor May Not Tell You About Premenopause" and decided to ask my pc doctor to evaluate my hormones in the hopes that she would be able to help with the imbalance.  She asked me several questions about my emotional symptoms and diagnosed me with depression.  She prescribed an anti-depressant.  I had a feeling that she would be approaching my condition this way so I had a copy of the book with me, along with some of the web pages I had downloaded from your site.  When I told her that I believed the problem was hormonal she excused me saying, "It looks like we're finished here.  I can see that I'm not convincing you...but when you decide that you want this prescription it will be waiting for you at the front desk."  A few days later she called me to let me know that my test results indicated that I had a thyroid condition which was causing my hormonal problems.  I was low in progesterone as well as estrogen and I decided to begin the natural progesterone oil.  I shopped all over the internet for a type of NP which would not contain the additives that were undesirable and found this one as the only one based in oil.  I was also placed on Synthroid for my thyroid condition and I can't tell you which one if not both of these helped "even me out" but I can tell you that a couple weeks later I was pregnant!  Had I followed my doctor's advice I probably would've caused my baby to suffer with birth defects. I was concerned that I would miscarry again but through much prayer and continuing on the natural progesterone through my first trimester things went very well!  I want to say that Dr. Eckart was very responsible in my care even though I have never met the man face-to-face.  He quickly responded to my many questions and once even called me on the phone to make sure I knew that I needed to taper off the NP as I progressed to the second trimester of the pregnancy.  I gave birth to a ten and a half pound baby boy named Uriah in February and we are all doing wonderfully.  I thank God for leading me to your website and have referred other women to your company already.  They are pleased with the results also.  I know that there will be many more because it seems that often I find that the women I meet are struggling with hormonal changes and have never heard that there is a natural way to solve this problem.  So many of them believe that antidepressants are the only answer!  Thanks again for providing a better way.

Sincerely, Sarah N. (mother of six)

Editors note: Estrogen dominance can cause a hypothyroid clinical picture with a normal T3 level. Women are tired and have a body temp. of approximately 97F, and gain fat on the belly and hips. Hair may thin. Avoiding xenoestrogens and taking Natural Progesterone will reverse this. A repeat first trimester miscarriage is almost always a Natural Progesterone deficiency.

Baby Girl!

Dear Dr. Eckhart,
You helped me just over a year a nine months ago with my trying to conceive. Our daughter, N., just turned one. My difficulty was not getting pregnant, but keeping the pregnancy. I took Progestelle, and that ensured my pregnancy. Our daughter is very healthy, happy, and bright. My husband and I are trying to conceive again. I was 42 when I conceived N., and now am 43 going on 44.

Thank you kindly,

Healthy Baby Boy!

In my family, we have a genetic history of losing a baby over the age of 30 for those of us who suffer from headaches, especially one sided migraine headaches. I get one sided migraine headaches, and I had my first child in my late 20's, with no problems.

I tried to get pregnant again at age 30, and ended up conceiving 8 times, and dumping them every month. One actually stuck for a week, then I miscarried. I tried a low-dosage progesterone prescribed by my Naturopathic Doctor, but it didn't work. I turned to Chinese Medicine, and after 5 treatments, I was pregnant with twins. I didn't continue the treatments, and ended up miscarrying one twin at 11 weeks. I gave birth to the other twin, my daughter, at term.

I got pregnant again before she turned 2, and carried him to 15 weeks. He died in utero, and I carried him for 2 weeks, unaware that he was dead until I miscarried.

I decided to research losing baby and one sided migraine headaches, and came upon the Women's Therapeutic Institute, and Dr. John Lee's information. I took Progestelle for one month, and on the second month, while taking Progestelle, I was pregnant. I continued to take Progestelle every day, and stopped on my 8 month day of pregnancy. I gave birth to a healthy baby boy at term, 3 days before my due date. He is beautiful, strong, and very smart.

I started taking progesterone again 2 months post-partum, while breast feeding full-time, with the advise of my doctor. I noticed an immediate difference in my behavior, and emotions. I felt balanced and had more energy, and I slept better. My baby's behavior stayed the same. The progesterone has no effect on him. I hope my experience helps others who are suffering from loosing babies. Progesterone really does work.

Thanks for reading my story.

Sara Was Born!!! A Healthy Nearly 10 Pound Baby Girl

Dear Dr. Eckhart,
I am writing to thank you for all of your work. Without which my daughter would not be here. I was seriously thinking about giving up on another child. By now I was nearly forty and I barely had my first one earlier in life. Miscarriage after miscarriage. Disappointment after disappointment. I did not want to quit. I didn't want it to end this way.

Then by a fluke I started to research PMS. I had felt a rage toward my daughter that scared me. Immediately I began researching. I came across a sight and low and behold early miscarriage was caused by estrogen dominance. WOW!! I was excited, sad and mad all at the same time. How did this happen? Why? All my suffering and all this time it was caused by the products I was using ignorantly. Ouch! Not to mention all of the other symptoms of which I had many.

I started the progestelle as recommended and continued three months after getting pregnant. Six months later to the joy and delight of my entire family our Sara was born!!!! A healthy nearly 10 pound baby girl.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for giving us our happy ending. Now when I look back, the end will never be a miscarriage and its sorrow but the blessing of our precious baby girl.

I Have A History Of Miscarriages At 4-8 Weeks

My story has been a long 7 year journey....I have been plagued with weight gain, heavy cycles, severe PMS, PCOS, migraines, acne, mood swings, breast tenderness, and infertility (8 first trimester miscarriages in 7 years) It was heart wrenching to keep feeling like I was dying, knowing there was something going on internally that no doctor could "diagnose." I took matters into my own hands and typed in all of my symptoms into a search engine and up came "estrogen dominance" and natural progesterone for the treatment. While I was researching progesterone, I came across your site and liked the fact that your product did not have all of the added herbs and chemicals of the other "natural" protgesterone creams had. I ordered your product and LOVED the buy one get one deal! I used it from ovulation to the beginning of my monthly cycle. I quickly noticed my moodiness disappearing...my acne cleared up, headaches lessened and low and behold within a few months got pregnant. I contacted Dr Eckhart to ask if Progestelle was safe to continue in pregnancy. He assured me it would protect my pregnancy and gave me the dosage recommendations for someone with my history. I continued to use Progestelle until my 6th month and am proud to say I now have a very happy and healthy 3 month old baby boy! Thank you for your support while taking Progestelle! It changed my life! I will continue to use Progestelle and eliminate the use of products on the avoidance list to assure my hormones and body stay in balance! And may even try for baby #2....

Best Regards,
Jody L C

I sent this email over a year ago and am pleased to announce I have a healthy, happy 12 week old baby boy! I started using your oil @ 4 weeks and had a very healthy uncomplicated pregnancy! THANK YOU!!!

I do have a question..can I use this and still breastfeed? I want to keep my hormones balanced and ready to go if we try for baby #2. Are there any side effects or harm for the nursing baby? Thank you!!!

I Am Now The Mother Of A Beautiful, Healthy And Happy Baby Girl!

I had recently had a miscarriage and was pregnant and bleeding again when my mother had me contact Dr. Eckhart. I immediately started taking Progestelle. 24 Weeks Along And Feeling Great And Baby Is Doing Well

Yes you may publish my testimony under Janette G. Here is a summary: I am in my mid 30's and have had two successful pregnancies followed by 2 miscarriages. After the last miscarriage my periods were not normal, they lasted longer and were heavier with clots. At first I thought my body just needed time to heal from the miscarriages but after a year of no improvement I knew something was wrong with my hormones. Finding out about Progestelle was an answer to prayer! I cut out xenoestrogens, learned how to make my own shampoo bar, deodorant etc. After using Progestelle for 5 months I had a normal period. I was excited to finally be getting my hormones back to normal again and then had another surprise, I became pregnant. I kept using Progestelle during my pregnancy but around 9 weeks along I started to bleed heavily one night. My husband and I were afraid I was miscarrying again but thankfully that did not happen. I contacted friends and family and asked them to pray that God would heal my body and bless my pregnancy. Dr. Eckhart instructed me to increase my dose of Progestelle which I did and the bleeding quit but I had spotting for another month. Finally the spotting completely stopped and I have been blessed by God with a normal pregnancy. I followed Dr. Eckhart's protocol for pregnancy and successfully tapered off the Progestelle dose and am currently 24 weeks along and feeling great and baby is doing well. There are other progesterones available but they have other ingredients and don't give you the information you need about the root of the problem (xenoestrogens). You also don't get free, quick medical advise like Dr. Eckhart gives. Progestelle is an excellent, natural product and I highly recommend it.

Blessings,

I Am 17 Weeks Pregnant

Hi Dr Eckhart,
I just wanted to follow up and tell you that I did conceive and am 17 weeks pregnant...just about to start tapering off my progesterone. I had more than 4 miscarriages due to lack of progesterone. I would spot the week leading up to my period every month, and I could never figure out why. And I had short 25-26 day cycles. Finally after a little research and finding your site, I'm going to have a baby. I conceived the 2nd month being on the progesterone. The first month my spotting stopped completely and I knew it was going to work. And then the 2nd month I conceived! My husband was amazed! With all my miscarriages, I wouldn't show positive pregnancy until a week or more past my missed period...nothing...so I knew hormones were low. And I would spot the whole time, and then eventually within a few days or a week would just lose it. With this pregnancy...not a single drop of blood, and I showed positive day 21...I didn't know it was possible to see that early!

My OB, of course, didn't feel the progesterone did anything to conceive, but I insisted it did. This is my 2nd child. I had no issues the first time; I conceived immediately. After all the miscarriages this time, it was pretty clear something was up. She labeled it a "Luteal Phase Defect." Any thoughts on that? Seems like that's just a fancy way of saying progesterone deficiency. She tried to get me to switch to oral progesterone she would prescribe, but I told her I would just keep doing what I was doing. She also told me I could simply STOP taking the progesterone at week 12. I was so surprised to hear an OB say that...especially after what you have said regarding miscarriage. STOP? Not even a suggestion to taper? Well I obviously ignored her and the pregnancy is progressing wonderfully. I will continue to use the oil after my baby and beyond.

I want to thank you so much for everything you do. I'm so excited for this baby, and so amazed at how the progesterone worked. You are an amazing individual! Thanks for caring, and thanks for all the time and effort you put into your work! I hope other women out there don't settle for the health care we are given, and go searching for truth! It's worth it!

Sincerely,

I Went On To Have A Beautiful Healthy Baby Boy

I had lost 2 babies then found I was pregnant again. I immediately started in this and stayed on it for 16 weeks. They tested my progesterone levels at 8 weeks and they were double normal range. I went on to have a beautiful healthy baby boy. I also took this after giving birth and it helped with my plummeting hormones. It does work, my 15 month old is living proof.

I Had An Excellent Pregnancy And Birth

Dear Dr Eckhart,
I am writing for two reasons. Firstly an overdue big Thank you! I contacted you mid 2012 in an emotional state, afraid of losing my pregnancy as I had a previous miscarriage with similar symptoms. You listened to me & talked me through my fears when I felt no other medical professional would or had. I did not want to be told one more time that it was just meant to be, when my body was failing me & exhibited all the signs of low progesterone. You were truly reassuring & I am very pleased to report that I followed your instructions & took the oil until the end of my pregnancy tapering off right at the end. I had an excellent pregnancy & birth. We now have a beautiful 1yr old daughter. She is wonderfully bright & perfect. I advised a friend who was also having troubles, of you & the progestelle oil. They contacted you & now they also have a new baby girl. So thank you so much!

The second reason I am writing was to ask for your advice in taking the oil while breastfeeding. We wanted to start trying for another baby soon. I have just found out today that we have conceived! So I will definitely need to place another order with you for the progesterone oil. Can you advise me on taking the oil & breastfeeding? Will this effect my supply? Thank you again, to Dr Eckhart and his team for always answering questions so quickly & for all you have done to help us.

Kind Regards,

Helped With Miscarriages

I suffered from miscarriages and infertility for two years before finding this product. I used Progestelle (always started on day 14 of my cycle and continued until I got my period) AND switched all my cosmetics, lotions, etc. like suggested and changed my diet. I truly believe it helped me carry my two subsequent pregnancies to full term (two boys...one in 2006 and another in 2008). After getting a + home pregnancy test I continued to use Progestelle all the way until well into my 2nd trimester. After many miscarriages I really think it was this product that did the trick. PS I used this product with my doctor's knowledge and supervision.

This Product Saved My Baby's Life

I want to recommend this wonderful product, almost two years ago it saved our baby girl's life! I had a miscarriage in late 2012, and in early 2013 I started taking the progestelle to straighten out my cycles and almost immediately became pregnant. When I started spotting one evening early in the pregnancy, I used more of the progestelle than I had been and immediately went to bed, feeling that I did not want to go through another ER visit and if I was miscarrying there would be really nothing they could do anyway. The next morning the bleeding had stopped and I felt better, but I made an appointment with my OB anyway. She knew nothing about the progesterone, but did say the baby was doing well. It did show there being some bleeding on the ultrasound which went away later in the pregnancy. This had happened with the pregnancy in 2012 as well - unfortunately I did not know about progestelle at that time and miscarried. Feeling that the progesterone was what had stopped the bleeding this time, I called Dr Eckhart and he explained how I would need to continue with the progesterone and wean off it at a certain time in the pregnancy. When I weaned off of it, I went too quickly, and started cramping, etc, so I called him and he recommended I stay on it for the duration of the pregnancy. Thanks to his advice and the progestelle, we had a healthy baby girl! Fast forward almost two years, I have not been using the progestelle, but my cycle was late. I took a pregnancy test and there was a very very faint line. I immediately started using progestelle because I was having cramping and lower back pain. A week later, the symptoms are now gone, and another pregnancy test shows a much darker line, so the baby is hopefully going to be OK! So, here we go again! We have been blessed, and we will do all we can to save and keep this little baby.
